There are about 20 stalls selling various street food in the area directly outside Central World Bangkok. Passed by this stall and their picture of this dish caught my eye.
Always has been a sucker for fried chicken and spicy noodle, i decided to give it a try. The crispiness of the chicken and the chilli added a punch to the taste buds. I gave this a thumb up and would definitely go back for it again! |

Thip samai known to have one of the best pad thai in Bangkok, is one of the must try when one comes to the country.
The portions are generous, and the signature egg pad Thai comes with a thin layer of omelet cocooning the moist and fresh noodles that are cooked over a charcoal fire. Imagine the aroma from the steaming hot noodle when you break open the omelet... You can easily recognize the stall from the long snake of queue forming in front of it. |
the pad thai shop @ Phuket karon

The Pad Thai Shop is a small restaurant on the side of a back road of Karon Beach. Plain wood and bricks walls, concrete roof, plastic chairs and plates and a black bare stove as old local shops usual are.
Despite its success and the number of people who flock there for its delicious food, the owner still keeps the outlook as it is. The huge portion the pad thai comes in with extra chilli flakes or fish sauce by its side is enough to make you come back for more. So head down to the shop if you are near the area and be prepare to wait out a bit as the cook dish out his famous pad thai. |
